Steinbruegge, Elmer Earl of Portage Des Sioux, MO, on Tuesday May 15, 2018, at the age of 93.
Beloved husband of the late LaVerne Steinbruegge; cherished son of the late Frank A. and Adelade Steinbruegge; devoted father of Ron Steinbruegge, Sharon (Lee) Williams, Caryn (Bob) Brueckmann, Charmayne Steinbruegge, Ginny (Tom) Mergenthaler, and David Steinbruegge.; loving grandfather of 16 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren. Elmer is preceded in death by his sister Mildred Hartwell and daughter-in-law Kathy Steinbruegge.
Elmer was a member of the Meat Cutters local 88. He enjoyed wood working, BBQ, he was a great cook especially German Potato Salad and chicken Salad, he enjoyed a cold Michelob beer every now and then. Most importantly he loved the family get togethers. Elmer was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
