Zieger (nee: Gerhardt); dear father of Susan (David) Umbar-ger; dear grandfather of Lauren Umbarger; dear brother of Don (Jean) Zieger and the late Joseph Zieger; dear brother-in-law of Joan Zieger; loved uncle, cousin, great uncle, brother-in-law and friend to many. Mr. Zieger was an Elder and Deacon at John Calvin Presbyterian Church; a previous member of Friedens UCC in St. Louis MO, Boys Club, International Governor of Sertoma of Springfield Illinois; former member of First Congregational Church, Springfield, IL. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
