Elmer L. Choate

Beloved husband of Bobbie Choate; loving son of the late Lurman Choate and Viva (Allen) Choate; dear father of Kay (Jack Dorton, Jim Choate and the late Fay Choate; grandfather of Jackie (Brian) Kauffman, Scott (Lori) Dorton, Tim Choate and Jeanna Choate; great grandfather of Jeanna Choate and Jessica Kauffman; special friend of Donna Choate and Glenda Alexander. After retiring from Carter Carburetor, Mr. Choate moved to Arkansas and worked for The Success Water Works and drove a school bus for Corning School District. His most recent position was working for Old Time Pottery in Wentzville, Missouri. He servied in the U.S. army from November 1944 to November 1946.
