He was born February 19, 1922 to George and Bertie Armstrong Marolf in Hebron, Nebraska. Beloved husband of Frances L. Marolf of St. Charles; dear son of the late George A. and Elizabeth Marolf; loving father of Priscilla (Jeff) Gong of Galloway, New Jersey and William A. (Susan) Marolf of Tucson, AArizona; dear brother of Lillian Hartley, the late Jean Heyen, Rhea and Robert Marolf; dear uncle of the late Wilma Engel; grandfather of William, Daniel, Randall, Michael and Alexander Gong; great grandfather of Amy, Jason, Noah and Simon Marolf; survived by other nieces and nephews. Elmer was a mail carrier for the St. Charles Post Office for 25 years. He was in the Army Medics during World War II.
