Elmer Theodore Stahlhuth, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Norma Stahlhuth; cherished son of the late Frederick A. and Ruby L Stahlhuth. Devoted father of Mark (Jana) Stahlhuth, Diane (Dave-deceased) Luter, Gary (Edith) Stahlhuth, and Brad (Peggy) Stahlhuth; loving grandfather of Amelia (Mitch) McCleary, Mary Stahlhuth, Rebekah Maples, Nick (Katie) Luter, Sean (Hannah) Luter, Andrew (Alec) Luter, and Brandon Stahlhuth; step grandchildren, April (Josh) Mullen, and Derek Leonard; treasured great grandfather of four and 5 step great greatchildren; dear brother of the late Louis Stahlhuth and the late Betty Cregar.
Elmer was a member of the plasterers’ union, and a faithful member of 1st United Methodist Church in St. Charles. He enjoyed working doing plaster restoration work and didn't retire until he was in his 80's. Elmer was a handy man and won awards for plastering. After Elmer retired, he loved to travel and go hunting. He also had a dry sense of humor. Elmer was married to his loving wife for 60 years. Elmer was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
