Elmo Penrod

Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association or The American Diabetes Foundation. Elmo Penrod was born to Samuel and Dolly Penrod in Portageville, MO. He is preceded in death by his loving parents. Mr. Penrod was owner/operator of a service station in St. Charles, MO for 25 years. He served in the U.S. Army from December 145 to December 1948. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marguriete Penrod of St. Charles, MO; three children: Dickie Gene (Leslie) Penrod of Fayetteville, N.C., Darla West of St. Charles, MO and Emily Brown of Manchester, MO; two brothers: Lavon Penrod of Cottonwood, CA and Aquilla Penrod of Hale, MI; a sister, Dorothy Dollis of Nixa, MO; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a brother, Mayfield Penrod.
