Elsa “Babe” Borgschulte

Elsa M. Borgschulte of Portage Des Sioux, MO, passed away at the age of 96 on Saturday, January 2, 2021. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dorwood Borgschulte Sr.; her son, Jim Borgschulte; her parents, Carl and Emma Stille; and her siblings, Carl Stille, Ruth Richardson, and Melba Wehmeyer.

Elsa is survived by her sons, Wayne (Linda) Borgschulte and Dorwood (Mary) Borgschulte Jr.; her grandchildren, David (Kim) Borgschulte, Tim (Brandi) Borgschulte, Sarah (Tedd) Jordan, Woody (Amy) Borgschulte, Josh Borgschulte, Heather (Dave) Machicao, and Christiane (Matt) Bracht; and eight great-grandchildren.

Elsa was a loving, caring woman who loved nothing more than to make sure her family was well taken care of. For fun, she enjoyed sitting down to solve a challenging puzzle or two. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions in Elsa’s name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
