Emeline E. “Em” Flees

Flees, Emeline E. “Em” (nee: Jessup) of Affton, MO, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Sylvester J. Flees; cherished daughter of the late Elmer “Alvin” and Pauline Jessup; devoted mother of Joseph (Laurine) Flees; loving grandmother of Joseph W. (Sandra) Flees II and Daniel J. Flees; treasured great-grandmother of Greyson Hunter Flees; cherished sister of Phyllis Smith, Ruth (Ronnie) Hertel, and Sandy (Don) Gedeon; special cousin of Edie Honaker. She was a dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mona June, Darlene, and Junior. Em is also survived by her canine companion, Abby.

Em loved quilting, sewing, gardening, cooking, bowling, and crafts. She most of all loved being around other people. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
