Emma Fae Madden

Emma Fae Madden (nee Brock), of Ellisville, MO, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at the age of 89. Loving wife of Leroy Madden; beloved daughter of the late Nolan and Raye Brock; devoted mother of Howard (Sheila) Madden, Becky (Randy) Davis, Ruth (Chris) Ross, Robin (Bruce) Stahl, and Michael Madden; cherished grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of over twenty; sister-in-law of Floretta Brock. Emma is also preceded in death by her brother, Fred Brock.

Emma retired from the St. Louis County Special District after many years of service. She graduated from Arkansas State University with a BA and master’s degree in Education. She was a faithful member of Kirkwood Baptist Church. Emma and Leroy married in 1949 and were married for 71 years. She and her husband enjoyed traveling all over the United States in their RV. Emma also loved to do needle work of all types and was a wonderful seamstress. Family meant everything to Emma. She loved and supported her family unconditionally. Emma was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Emma's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shiners Hospital’s for Children.
