Eric Handlang

Eric Lyle Handlang, of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the age of 65. Cherished son of Dorothy Grace Burgardt and the late Milton Lorenz Handlang. Devoted father of Amanda (Jerod) McMillan, Christopher (Haley) Handlang, and Braden Handlang; loving grandfather of Kaydence McMillan, Lydon McMillan, Rhett Handlang, Laynie Handlang, Ezemay Handlang, Oakley Handlang, Legend Handlang, Zander Handlang. Eric is also survived by his previous wife, Kimberly Handlang. 

Eric, a skilled craftsman who found joy in hands-on work, dedicated himself to welding as his profession. His meticulous approach shined through in the diverse projects he undertook. Beyond his craftsmanship, Eric had a passion for motorcycle rides and delighted in uncovering antiques at thrift stores. However, his greatest joy stemmed from quality time spent with family. Eric's warm presence and unwavering support endeared him to those who knew him, and his absence will be deeply felt by all. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Eric’s name to the American Heart Association.
