Eric N. Koch

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Avenue Christian Church. Koch, Eric N., 70, of St. Charles, MO, died May 18, 2009. Eric Koch was born November 25, 1938, in Decatur, IL to Paul and Velma (Chupp) Koch. He married Dicy Jane Ryder Purdy on December 21, 1974, in Decatur, Macon Co., IL. She survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Julie Ann Purdy and partner Becky Ann Garcia, of Mesa, AZ, and Jennifer Lynn Purdy Fisher and husband Scott Thomas Fisher of Lombard, IL. He also is survived by 4 grandchildren, Bradley Scott Fisher, Emily Katherine Fisher of Lombard, IL, Katie Nichole Fisher of Gilbert, AZ, and Ryder Benjamin Garcia-Purdy of Mesa, AZ. He is survived by one brother, Allan Craig Koch and wife Christine Louise (Grams) Koch of Grand Rapids, MI, and his extended family, Max and Dima Pastchenko of CA, and Iskra Adams of Cleveland, OH. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Koch, and his mother, Velma (Chupp) Koch. Eric was retired from a varied career that ranged from Electrical Engineering, University Professor, to Computer Consultant.
