Erma W. Broeker

Erma W. Broeker, (nee: Lang) of Portage Des Sioux, MO, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Vernon H. Broeker; cherished daughter of the late Adolph and Lydia Lang; devoted mother of Judy (Richard) Zumbehl, Mike (Carol) Broeker, Betty (Steve) Bealler, Dennis (Roxann) Broeker; loving grandmother of Kevin (Cathy) Zumbehl, Keith (Amy) Zumbehl, Jeff (Dianna) Broeker, Michelle (Brent) Cooper, Jeremy (Amanda) Broeker, Sheri (Matt) Lehmen, Kristen Bealler, Austin (Kate) Broeker, Troy Broeker, Trent Broeker, Carson Broeker; treasured great-grandmother of fourteen; dear sister of Millie Koch,  Delores Plackemeier, and the late Albert Lang,

Erma spent 47 wonderful years with her husband Vernon before his death in 1989. She was a devout member of Trinity Lutheran in Orchard Farm where she was also a member of the Ladies Circle. Erma was a hard worker and spent much of her time tending to the family farm on the tractor or her much loved golf cart. She had a passion for quilting as she made quilts for all the grandchildren which she took joy in gifting over the years.

Erma was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
