Erna A. Palmer

Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran School, Immanuel Lutheran Church or Child of God Lutheran School. Erna A. Palmer, was born on March 17, 1918 at the home of her parents Karl and Mathilda (Suedmeyer) Schoene in St. Charles MO. Erna was received into the kingdom of God through baptism at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Charles and was con-firmed there also. On June 17, 1939 she married Logan A. Palmer. They were blessed with three sons: Ronald, James and Timothy; 6 grandchildren: Pam Hubert, Stan Palmer, Sonja Brinkley, Ron Palmer, Christopher Palmer and Anne Corl; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Logan and her sons James (Rebecca Hoskins) and Timothy. Also three brothers, William (Francie) Schoene, Karl (Irene) Schoene and Paul (Mary) Schoene; two sisters, Ruth (Walter) Strickert, and Doris (Edward) Schmidt; she leaves behind one brother Raymond (Lucille) Schoene. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Soci-ety and was involved in the Church for many years. Erna was called to her heavenly home on June 15, 2004. She was looking with anticipation to gathering with family and friends at her Schoene Family Reunion next weekend but she has gone to a more glorious reunion where she has met her dear Lord Jesus Christ and all the loved ones that have gone before her. Although her passing saddens us all, we cannot but help to rejoice in the joy she has found in heaven.
