Ernie Thene

Ernie Thene, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023 at the age of 50. Beloved husband of Julie Thene; cherished son of the late Downey and Patsy Thene; son-in-law of Darlene (the late Travis) Cooper; devoted father of Ainsley Frances Thene and Ella Bernice Thene; dear brother of Melinda (Brent) Miller; treasured uncle of Emily & Erin Miller; nephew of Randy “Uncle” Green; beloved nephew, cousin and trusted friend to many. Ernie is also survived by his fur babies, Izzy and Maggie Mae. Ernie is also preceded in death by his Olepa and Gammaw, Uluss and Helen Green.

Ernie believed in equality for all and believed everyone deserved a chance. He enjoyed playing World of Warcraft with first, his friend Jason, and then many others over the years. Ernie loved playing video games and board games with his girls. He was extremely musically inclined and shared his beautiful gift of singing.

If you knew Ernie you were lucky, he was the greatest guy in the room and was loved by everyone. His family was his entire world. Ernie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Ernie's name to Habitat for Humanity or Paragould Children's Home, Paragould, Arkansas.
