Ervin Bryan Davis

Ervin Bryan Davis of O’Fallon, MO, walked through the gates of heaven with Jesus on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at the age of 82.  He was greeted by his loving wife, the late Dorothy Lucille Davis and his late son, Jeffrey Allen Davis.  He is the beloved son of the late Kenneth N. and Eula Irene Davis; devoted father of Susan (Michael) Fallon, Hiley (Karen) Davis, Jayne (Neal) Schroeder, and Virlinda (Darrell) Konneman; cherished grandfather of Jason (Anna) Fallon, Jeremiah Fallon, Michael Davis, Bryan (Kelli) Davis, Aaron (Laurel) Davis, Eric Davis, Elliot (Ashley) Schroeder, Luke Schroeder, Emilie Schroeder, Lydia Konneman, Layne Konneman, and Lucas Konneman; treasured great-grandfather of Teddy Fallon, Lizzy Fallon, Charlie Fallon, Brody Fallon, Kamy Davis, Brooke Davis, Lucy Schroeder, and Rowan Schroeder; dear brother of Brenda (Harold) O'Rear and Samuel (Theresa) Davis; brother-in-law of Paul Hill, Dot Davis, and Judy Davis; he was preceded in death by his siblings, Joy Hill, Kenneth Davis, and Dave Davis.

Ervin retired from Ford Motor Co. after more than 25 years on the assembly line.  He was a member of Harvester Christian Church, and loved Jesus and reading the bible.  He enjoyed roller skating, playing pool, woodworking, and tinkering on his 31’ Chevy Coupe.  He was a motorcycle enthusiast, who rode various Harleys and Honda Gold Wings throughout the years.  He collected Hot Wheels, trains, and farm tractors.  Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family.  Ervin had a heart of gold, and never knew a stranger.  He was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
