Erwin Donald Sachs (Socky), Age 87, currently resided in Wright City, Missouri. Erwin was born on March 27, 1926 in Flint Hill Missouri and grew up in St. Paul Missouri. He is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Odelia Sachs, brother Arthur Sachs, sister Gladys Wehde.
Erwin is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth Sachs (nee: Orf) and were married on May 10, 1949. Erwin was a devoted father to his children Donald Sachs and Lani Curtis; cherished grandfather of Stacy (Michael) Sifuentes, Shanna (Sean) Mayfield, Samantha Sachs, David Sachs, Jeremy Curtis and Heather Curtis; treasured great-grandfather of Skylar, Mackenzi, Alicia, Mikayla, Cody, Emily, Eli, Zain, and Trinity; dear brother of Wally Sachs.
He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II and served in the National Guard. He drove for Koepke Excavating for 26 years
