Laugeman; preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth J. Laugeman; son of the late William Henry and Nora(nee: Soetebier)Laugeman; devoted father of Rebecca (R. Casey) McGinnis, Erwin W. (Laurie) Laugeman, Jr., Michelle (Mark) Knebel, Mark G. (Stacey) Laugeman and Matthew E. (Teresa) Laugeman; step-father of Barbara (Gerry) Griesbaum, Kathleen (John) Baruzzini, Susan (Jeff) Fleecs, Dallas (Rose) Murphy and Matthew (Angela) Murphy; beloved grandfather of 14, step-grandfather of 7, great-grandfather of 2 and step-great-grandfather of 1; dear brother of Madalin Tynes (nee: Laugeman) and the late Letha Oberlin (nee: Laugeman). Erv graduated from Beaumont High School, St. Louis, MO in 1945. Upon graduation, he went into the US Marine Corps and served on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt until June of 1949 and then served in Korea from October 1950 to February, 1952. He graduated from St. Louis University in June, 1955. He started work for the FBI in 1953 and retired as a Special Agent in 1982. He was a member of the Retired Agents Association.
