Estelle M. Shaw

Estelle M. Shaw (nee Stafford), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Terry Martin Shaw; cherished daughter of the late Louise and William Stafford; devoted mother of Debbie (Brian) Dent and Terry Shaw; loving grandmother of Sean Shaw, Zachary Shaw, Chase Dent, and Jessica Dent; dear sister of Elizabeth McBain and three other siblings who preceded her in death.

Estelle was a nurturing soul whose greatest joy came from feeding others—she was a talented cook who expressed her love through food and was especially known for her famous gooey butter cake and Christmas cookies, baking and delivering over 2,000 in 2024 alone. She loved her family deeply and took great pride in caring for her grandchildren and babysitting the family dogs, one of her favorite pastimes. A devoted and hardworking woman, Estelle had a long and respected 62-year career, often going above and beyond in both her professional and personal life. Her Catholic faith was a cornerstone of her identity, remaining strong and unwavering throughout her life. Estelle was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
