Esther E. Hawkins

Hawkins, Esther E. (nee: Briley) of Saint Charles, MO, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late James E. Hawkins; cherished daughter of the late Jessie and Ora Briley; devoted mother of Nancy (Jerry) Nagle, Jerry Walker, Chuck Walker, Virginia (Lloyd), Tom (Sharon) Shuskey, and the late John Moreland; loving grandmother of 12; treasured great-grandmother of 6; dear sister of Alberta Middleton. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Rubby, Thormenetta, Jerry, June, Bill, and Leon.

Esther loved sewing and worked as a seamstress for many years. She enjoyed bingo, reading, crossword puzzles, and going to the casino.  She was outspoken and loved life.  She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
