Esther “Fern” Ziegler

Esther “Fern” Ziegler (nee: Thompson) of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Harold Ziegler; daughter of the late Arthur and Bessie Thompson; devoted mother of Randy (Barbara) Ziegler and Layne (Debbie) Ziegler; loving grandmother of Sherra Wolff, Christina (David) Atkinson, Paul (Kristen) Dickey, Jessica (Justin) Sanchez, Dustin Ziegler, and Nicholas (Connie) Ziegler; treasured great-grandmother of TJ, Nicholas, Lexi, Jordan, Jacob, Josh, Gracelyn, Cole, and Jude; dear sister of Yarol (Vivian) Thompson.

Fern was a caring mother and grandmother whose one desire was that salvation would be obtained by all. She lived her life as a reflection of that desire and was a faithful, active member of Gateway Church of the Nazarene. Fern cared for friends and family with her total being, once again reflecting God’s love.

Memorials may be made in Fern’s honor to Gateway Central Church of the Nazarene.
