Eugene “Gene” Carroll

Carroll, Eugene “Gene,” of Saint Charles, MO, was Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church on Saturday March 4, 2017, at the age of 84. Loving husband of the late Mary Suzanne Carroll; beloved son of the late Eugene Clifford and Lorraine Carroll; devoted father of Laura Suzanne Gallagher, Eugene (Lisa) Carroll, Ann (Jim) Carroll-Butler, Diane (Mike) Boerding, and Kathleen (Mike) Parvis; cherished grandfather of Eugene (Jill) Gallagher, Katherine (John) Waldrop, Andrew Gallagher, Molly Carroll, Jack Carroll, Gretta Boerding, Elliot Boerding, Claudia Parvis, Zoe Parvis; treasured great-grandfather of Weston Eugene Gallagher; dearest brother of Jim Carroll and Sally Maloney; he is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Graduated from Parks College where he was a very active alumnus and awarded the MAGIS service award. He worked for McDonnell Douglas and retired in 1992. He volunteered at the Missouri Historical Society working on the Lindbergh collection. He loved to travel and was a faith filled man. Gene was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
