Eugene P. Schneider

Eugene "Mayor" P. Schneider, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Friday, December 6, 2013 at the age of 57. Loving husband of his high school sweetheart Terri Schneider (nee: Finders); dear son of the late R. Leslie and Marguerite Schneider; devoted father of Stephanie (Shane) Cross, Kevin (Logan) Schneider, and Kurt (Ashley) Schneider; cherished grandfather of Sophia Cross, Samuel Cross, and Abe Schneider; dear brother of Richard Schneider, Steven (Deborah) Schneider, Thomas (Sandra) Schneider, Timothy (Catherine) Schneider, Geralyn (James) Duly, and Mary Widaman; dear son-in-law of Ronald Finders; dear brother-in-law of Opal Schneider, Mary Schneider, Phyllis Schneider, Linda (Dennis) Rawlings, and John (Beth) Finders; and loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his brothers James Schneider, William Schneider, and Danny Schneider, and his mother-in-law Charlene Finders.
Gene worked for Ryerson Steel and was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church where he served as an usher. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus (Westbury) and Local #688. Gene knew no stranger and if you were a friend of his you were a friend for life. He was an avid golfer and proud of his hole in one. He was also a huge sports fan (Mizzou, Cardinals and Duchesne), but most of all he loved his family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Duchesne High School or St. Peters Catholic Church.
