Eugene R. Schaeffer

Schaeffer, Eugene R. of O'Fallon, MO, died on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at the age of 75. Loving husband of Mary Schaeffer; beloved son of the late James "Jake" and Catherine Schaeffer; devoted father of Jeffrey Schaeffer and Stephanie (Dale) Smith; cherished grandfather of Brenden (Emily) Schaeffer, Devyn Schaeffer, Brianna Schaeffer and Bailey Smith; treasured step-son of Johanna Schaeffer; dear brother of Alice (Don) Forbeck, Marge Gentemann, Gladys Reppell and Kak Eisenbath; and loving uncle, cousin and friend to many. He is preceded in death by two brothers Richard Schaeffer and James W. Schaeffer, and sister Thelma Hull.
