Eula “Burt” Lee Orf
August 25, 1927 — January 26, 2022
Eula Lee (Burt) Orf of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 26, 2022 at the age of 94.
Burt was the loving wife of the late Leroy (Blackie) Orf, and dear daughter of the late Frank and Leona (Ehlmann) Burton. She was the devoted mother of her daughters, Chris (Wayne) Hoffman and Becky (Mike) Sullentrop, cherished grandmother of Mindy (John) Saxbury, Matt (Livia) Sullentrop and Angie (Joe) Arnold. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren (Michael, Maya, Meghan, Makenna & Kaden), 2 step-grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren, 5 nieces, 2 nephews, cousins and friends.
Burt was a member of St. Cletus Catholic Church, and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, having a 30 year career with Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator.
Her greatest passions were reading and the St. Louis Cardinals, but her love of family surpassed all else. She will be greatly missed.
Memorials may be made in Burt's name to Cardinal Glennon Hospital or masses.
Due to the COVID19 pandemic, with extreme caution, the family does recommend wearing a mask during the funeral services.
