Eva Velgene Schenck

Eva Velgene Schenck (nee Wilson), of St. Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at the age of 88. Loving wife of the late Charles H. Schenck; beloved daughter of the late Willie and Iva P. Wilson; devoted mother of Wayne Schenck, Michael Schenck, Rita Rasche, and Karen (Tim) Chowning; mother-in-law of Dan Quesenberry; cherished grandmother of David (Shelby) Pogues, Kevin Pogue, Justin Pogue, Brandon Chowning, Michayla Chowning, Danny Quesenberry, and Shane (Ashley) Quesenberry; treasured great-grandmother of Lance Holtkamp, Dawson Pogue, Reagan Pogue, and Morgan Pogue, Neveah Quesenberry, Jaxson Quesenberry, Jeremy Quesenberry, and Aiden Holtkamp; dear sister of 7;  and friend to many. Eva is preceded in death by her son, Randy Schenck, daughter, Cathy Quesenberry, and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Pogue and Jennifer Parkus. 

Eva was the caretaker and matriarch for her family, she had a very caring heart. Family was very important, and she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart. Eva never missed her yearly trips to the Presley Show in Branson, Missouri or the Presley Program on TV. In her free time, she enjoyed bus tours and decorating her yard with different glass globes or ornaments. Overall, Eva always cherished every second that she spent with her loving family. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Eva's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
