Evelyn Jeanne Clements

Evelyn Jeanne Clements (nee Buenemann), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late Norman "Norm" Frederick Clements; beloved daughter of the late Eugene Emil and Lucille E. Buenemann; devoted mother of Carolyn L. Hurst and Curtis "Curt" Alan Clements; cherished grandmother of Nikki (Chris) Marsh, Amanda Hurst, Angie (Ron) Burns, and Sonya (Sean) Unverzagt; treasured great-grandmother of Jovie Marsh, Jackson Marsh, Sabrina Burns, Levi Unverzagt, and Mya Burns; dear aunt of Sue (Sterling) Green and Kathy (Tom) Mertz. Evelyn is also preceded in death by her son, Charles "Chuck" Eugene Clements and great-granddaughter, Zoey Unverzagt.

Evelyn was a woman of faith and dedicated to God. Evelyn was an active member of Grace United Church of Christ where she was a part of their Crafty Corners Group. Evelyn enjoyed knitting, embroidery, and making greeting cards. She loved to keep her mind busy working on jigsaw puzzles as well as word puzzles. She was very friendly; you could say she never met a stranger in her life. She had a hug to offer to everyone. Evelyn was a happy and loving person. She married to the love of her life and Evelyn and Norm shared 63 and a half wonderful years together. She loved the water, and they took many wonderful cruises together. They would often go on drives to visit the peaceful view of local ponds and lakes. Evelyn was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
