Evelyn E. Ermeling

Ermeling, Evelyn E., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Monday, January 12, 2009 at the age of 90. Dear wife of Orville G. Ermeling, "Big O"; dear daughter of the late Gustav and Bertha Kaase; loving mother of Barbara (Hugo) Leimkuehler, Vernette (Wayne C.) Ehlmann and the late Russell Ermeling; dear mother-in-law of Karen Ermeling; cherished grandmother of nine; proud great-grandmother of ten; dear sister of the late Argus Kaase; dear sister-in-law of Marie Kaase and Delores Nau; dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend to all who knew her. Evelyn was a life member in Bowling. As an avid bowler, she was involved in Ladies Leagues for many years and served as secretary of a Bowling League for 30 years. She bowled Cocked Hat for a few years and she was in the Bowling Hall of Fame. Evelyn was dedicated to her family, and was proudly married to Orville "Big O" for 67 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Charles and was also a member of a Birthday Club for nearly 70 years. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or to Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
