Evelyn Louise Copeland

Copeland, Evelyn Louise, (nee: Phelps) of St. Charles, MO, died on Friday, February 19, 2016, at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late Loran Dayne Copeland; beloved daughter of the late George and Eva Douglas; devoted mother of Carolyn Copeland, of Wentzville, MO, and Brenda (Jeff) Carson, of Noble, OK; cherished grandmother of Rachel (Donald) Isringhaus, of Hawkins, TX, Adam Kohenskey, of Wentzville, MO, Dr. Nicholas Peterson, M.D., of Long Beach, CA, and Jacob Peterson, of Norman, OK; treasured great-grandmother of Bailey Isringhaus, of Hawkins, TX; dear sister of Lela Moore, of Willis, TX, Wanda Sanders, of Wentzville, MO, Frank (Dorthena) Douglas, of Winona, MO, Faye Voyles, of Winona, MO, and Larry Dean Douglas, of Ellsinore, MO. She is preceded in death by her son Ronald “Ronnie” Dayne Copeland and her brothers Bob Douglas, Bill Douglas, and Lawrence Douglas.

Evelyn was a very devoted mother and wife. She enjoyed volunteering at St. Peters Hospital for many years. Evelyn was a member of Assembly of God and loved the Lord, but most of all she loved being with her family.
