Evelyn Marie Trautwein (nee Askins), of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Paul B. Trautwein; cherished daughter of the late

Robert C. and Leora Askins; devoted mother of Paul R. (Donna) Trautwein, Linda G. (Phillip) Eggers, Richard C. (Kathy) Trautwein, the late Billy Trautwein, and the late Kathleen Trautwein; proud grandmother of Stacy (Steve) Tutewohl, Jeff (Emily) Trautwein, Melissa (Brian) Tutewohl, Todd Trautwein, Katie (Ryan) Faile, Tommy (Carmen) Garrighan, Luke Eggers, Ricky Trautwein, and Katelyn Trautwein; and loving great-grandmother of Warner Tutewohl, Isaac  Trautwein, Kiele and Kaleb Trautwein, Thomas Garrighan, and Ryan "Jack" Faile. Devoted Aunt and Great-Aunt.

In addition to her husband, children, and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Askins, George Askins, Herbert "Leroy" Askins, Thomas Askins, Mildred Hedge, Anna May Askins, and Colleen Delgman.

Evelyn was a member of Chapel of the Cross. She was passionate about researching her family’s history. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, and cheering on the St. Louis Rams, Cardinals, and Blues. Most of all, Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her wonderful family. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
