Evelyn “Nanny” Snead

Evelyn “Nanny” Snead (nee Kottmann), of Wildwood, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late George Snead; cherished daughter of the late Edwin and Irene Kottmann; devoted mother of the late Danny Stephen Snead and the late Jean Ann Hilbert; loving grandmother of Kimberly (Josh Buchheit) Revie-Buchheit and Bret Snead (Megan) Hilbert; treasured great-grandmother of Nathan, Devin, Juliette, Isabelle, Micah and Caleb; dear sister of Vincent (Ann) Kottmann and Gerri (the late Loyd) Mungle,; Evelyn is preceded in death by three brothers, Vernon (Rosemary) Kottmann, Kenny Kottmann and Norbert (Pat) Kottmann and four sisters, Olivia (Leonard) Dedlow, Virginia "Ginny" (Robert) Wyhs, and Marcella (Fred) Burmeister.
Evelyn worked as a florist and volunteered at Circle of Concern for many years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crafting and birdwatching. Most of all she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nanny is dearly loved and missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Evelyn's name to Circle of Concern Food Pantry.
