Evelyn Virginia Schippers

Schippers, Evelyn Virginia (nee: Strickland) of St. Charles, MO, died Sunday, September 27, 2015, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Schippers; cherished daughter of the late Emery "Ode" and Hetty June Strickland; devoted mother of Ronald Lee (Betty) Schippers, Paul Arnold (Charlie) Schippers, and Dr. Donna Schippers (Mark Crowley); loving grandmother of Julie, Annie (Nathan) Bernaix, Jacob (Lauren) Schippers, Laura, John, Sean, Ty, and Diana Crowley, Bailey Neff, Cody Neff, and Daniella Weeks; cherished great-grandmother of Evelyn and Hunter; dear sister of the late Velma Sellers and the late Merle Wilson.

Evelyn was a nurse with the VA in Knoxville, IA for over 45 years. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, quilting, crocheting, sewing, and playing Scrabble. Evelyn loved all animals, especially cats. She enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels at her feeder. She most of all loved her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
