Ferdinand H. Fred Burmeister

Memorials may be sent to the School Sisters of Notre Dame or Masses in care of Baue. Fred was the beloved son of the late Ferdinand H. Sr. and Gertrude Burmeister (nee: Jaske); loving husband of the late Margaret A. Burmeister (nee: Douglas) and second wife the late Marcella E. Burmeister (nee: Kottmann); devoted father of Judy (the late, Richard) Maurer, Margie J. (Gerald) Eckert, Gerald P. (Jane) Burmeister and Marietta L. (Scott) Greene; dear grandfather of 18 and great-grandfather of 22; preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Mr. Burmeister was a member of American Legion Post 312 and the St. Charles Council 823 Knights of Columbus, former sec’y St. Charles Retirees Bowling League, VFW Post # 2866 in St. Charles and St. Peter Catholic Church. He retired from McDonnell-Douglas after 33 years of service. He also served in the United States Army.
