Fern Columbine Bauer (nee Gurnea), of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021, at the age of 101. Loving wife of the late Harold Bauer; beloved daughter of the late Elven and Susie Gurnea; devoted mother of Harold "Joe" J. (Janice) Bauer, Jr., Patsy Mann, Brother Luke "Bob" Bauer, M.S., Jean (Dan) Chartrand, Jim (Mary) Bauer, Bill Bauer, and MaryAnne (John) Wilkin; cherished grandmother of 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Fern is also preceded in death by her siblings Grace, Bud, Thelma, Ruth, Ester, and Bob.
Fern was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Fern's name to La Salette Missionaries.
