Schubert, Dee Bocklage, 83, St. Peters, formerly of Marthasville, passed away Monday December 6, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Schubert, the daughter of the late Louis Franklin Steward and Delia Steward nee Corzine was born October 18, 1927 in Jonesboro, Illinois. Upon graduation from Wolf Lake High School in Illinois, she moved to St Louis and worked for the Bell Telephone Company where she met Henry G Bocklage, Jr who was home on leave from the US Army. They were married November 21, 1945 at Ft Campbell, Kentucky and later moved to Marthasville. Dee was active in the St Ignatius, Concord Hill Parish and worked in the nursery at St John’s Mercy Hospital prior to her retirement. She later moved to St Peters and became active in the Saints Joachim and Ann Parish, the Senior Citizens Care Center, St. Patrick’s Care Center and worked as a Patient Advocate for abused patients in the area Nursing Homes. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Henry G. Bocklage, Jr. and her second husband Mel Schubert, her brothers, Wallace, Sanford, Ivan, Arthur, Walter and Harvey Steward, Sisters Mary Rogers, Mildred Steward, Ollie Steward and Nellie Steward, Son in law Steward MacCorquodale and Grandson in Law Brett Maynard Sister in laws Dossy, Fern, and Geneva Steward, Leona Schroeder, and Helen Maune, and Brother in law Jim Bocklage and Oscar Maune . She is survived by four children, Diana Harness and husband Marvin of Union, Sharon MacCorquodale, St Peters, Ron Bocklage and wife Debbie (Riley), Duluth, Georgia, and Lu Jean Dugan and husband Tom of St. Peters, Nine grandchildren, Cynthia Williams and husband Gerry, St. Charles, Jeffrey Harness and wife Kelly (Vago), Washington, Amy Nettel, Washington, Jill Maynard, Charleston, South Carolina, Jennifer Smith and husband, Jeffrey, High Ridge, Jason Harness, Winghaven, Kate Dugan, Chicago, Il, Jeremy Scott Harness and wife Michelle (Collins), Lake St Louis, and Brad Bocklage, Duluth, Georgia. Great Grand Children, Courtney, Spencer and Morgan Williams, Alexander Nettel, Tyler and Anneliese Smith, Mia Harness, Austin Smith and Alexander Harness, Sister in laws, Irene Steward, Eureka, Dorothy Steward, Florida, Brother in law Vic Schroeder, Washington, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
