Jean Brock

Floy “Jean” Brock (nee York), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of the late Forest L. Brock; cherished daughter of the late Joe and Vivian York; devoted mother of Terri Boucher, Roy Selvidge, and Tracy Jennings; loving grandmother of Ashley, Brandy, Cassy, Darcey, Briana, Alexis, Aaron, and Jeffrey; treasured great-grandmother to 14 great-grandchildren; dear brother of the late Harold York; dear brother-in-law of Alan (Sue) Brock. 

Jean enjoyed reading, especially mysteries by Agatha Christie, James Patterson, and Janet Evanovich. She also loved listening to music, her favorite genre being oldies, and her favorite artist was Rod Stewart. Jean had a passion for shopping, indulging in shoes and purses, and most days she shopped until she dropped. In her spare time, Jean liked to garden and go for walks. She loved the beach and enjoyed visiting Panama City Beach.  

Most of all, Jean loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jean's name American Lung Association.
