Floyd Marcus Green

Floyd “Mark” Green, of Troy, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the age of 66. Cherished son of Dorothy (Gary Lee) Collier and the late Floyd Green; devoted father of Celeste McMullen and Nicholas Daughtery; dear brother of Timothy Green, Scott (Susan) Green, Dennis (Terry) Green, and the late Jeff Green; beloved step-brother of David Collier and Cindy Boone; loving grandfather of 4.

Mark was a kind and outgoing man who never met a stranger, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Mark proudly served his country in the United States Marines. He had a deep love for music, playing the guitar and singing, and was a fan of country music. Mark worked alongside his brother Tim for many years, laying carpet in hotels, a testament to his dedication and hard work. He also had a passion for riding his motorcycle, often joining veterans on memorable rides. Mark also enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting, and working at Busch Wildlife, which brought him great joy. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Mark’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
