Forest J. Dynan, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 at the age of 91. Loving husband of 57 years to the late Jean Dynan (nee Nodwell) ; beloved son of the late Charles Earl and Cora May Dynan; devoted father of Robert (Cheryl) Dynan, Merryan (Roger) Stockman, and Catherine (Randy) Westrich; cherished grandfather of Alexander Dynan, Andrew Dynan, Allison Dynan, Kathryn (Mike) Tate, Charlene (Brandon) Leonard, Charlie Stockman, Chloe (Stephen) Troll, and Phoebe Westrich; treasured great-grandfather of Kamden Dynan, Mattea Livingston, Griffin Tate, Hudson Tate, and Murphy Leonard.
Forest proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Miami. While Forest owned and operated his business CFM Graphics in St. Peters, he also worked as an engineer for Emerson Electric.
Being raised in Swampscott MA, Forest took to sailing at a young age. He enjoyed sailing in Marblehead, MA and in Newport Beach, CA when he moved there with his family. He loved to travel, and some of his favorite places to visit with his wife were Paris, London, Iran, Ethiopia, and the Virgin Islands.
Forest was a true family man and loved spending time with his family. He looked forward to planning the snow skiing trips when they lived in California. He also enjoyed visiting the lake and spending time with friends.
In his spare time, Forest enjoyed reading, especially spy stories, and looked forward to completing the NY Times crossword puzzles every night. He touched the lives of many and took care of a lot of people throughout his life. Forest was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Alzheimer's Association.
