Francesca Alagna

Alagna, Francesca (nee: Bono), 91, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Thursday, March 12, 2015. Beloved wife for 68 years of Tommaso Alagna; loving and cherished mother of Joe (Donna) and Gaetano 'Tom' (Laura) Alagna; dear Nonna of Ben (Angela) and Adam Alagna; our dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Francesca immigrated to the United States in 1948 from Campobello di Mazara, Sicily. After working as a seamstress for over 20 years at National Tailoring, Francesca and Tommaso opened Tommaso's Italian Restaurant in North County and then provided continued love and encouragement to their sons, Joe and Tom, to open their own Italian restaurant, Fratelli's. We will greatly miss sweet Francesca, her stories, and Italian poems.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association (St. Louis Chapter), American Heart Association (St. Louis Chapter) or Masses preferred.
