Francesco “Frank” Saullo

Francesco "Frank" Saullo, of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at the age of 93. Loving husband of the late Mary Frances Saullo; beloved son of the late Giuseppe “Joseph” and Paulina “Lena” Saullo; devoted father of Pauline (Gary) Hahn; Mary Ann (Jim) Harris, Joseph "Joe" Saullo, and Diane Rojano; cherished grandfather of 13, great grandfather of 20, and great great grandfather of 4; dear brother of Virginia (Robert) Dickerson.  Frank was also preceded in death by his six siblings.

Frank opened Saullo’s Restaurant early in his life, and he was an amazing cook and loved for preparing dishes for his family and friends.  This was a time in his life that brought him great joy and earned him life-long companionships.  His favorite foods were Italian cheese, Italian bread, and olives.  He liked to play cards, especially poker, hearts, and spades.  He was a hard worker and loved his family dearly, especially his grandkids.  Frank’s favorite color was red, so every car he owned had to be red.  He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
