Francis A. Hermann of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the age of 90. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, JoAnn. Francis was a devoted father to Theresa (James) Herman, Stephen Hermann, William (Kari) Hermann, Richard (Susan) Hermann, Charlene (James) Muehling, Carolyn (Timothy) Craig, and Christopher Hermann; cherished grandfather of twelve and great-grandfather of seven; dear brother to 10 living as well as 4 deceased siblings.
Francis was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church in Flint Hill, Missouri most recently and a long-time parishioner of St. Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul, Missouri. He worked for 50 years for the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood in O’Fallon. Francis was dearly loved and respected and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Francis’ name to the charity of your choice. He was a long-term member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society — a charitable organization that assists those in financial need.
Due to the increase in Covid cases, we encourage all visitors to please wear masks. And for the same reason, a luncheon will not follow the burial rite. We apologize for these inconveniences.
