Peirick, Francis H., of O’Fallon, Missouri, died on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the age of 79. Loving husband of 53 years to Jeanette Peirick (nee: Parmentier); devoted father of Karla (Bret) Falkner, Frank (Roberta) Peirick, Barb (Paul) Alexander, Greg (Lisa) Peirick, Mitchell (Julie) Peirick, and Lisa (David, Jr.) Etling; cherished grandfather of Katie Peirick, Andrea Harris, Melissa Peirick, Drew Huskey, Rachel Alexander, Nick Schulte, Jonathon Alexander, Brent Peirick, Natalie Alexander, Blake Peirick, Sarah Peirick, Karissa Abrolat, and Teddy Peirick, and great-grandfather of Isabella Oldani; dear brother of Mildred Janisch, Germaine Schroeder, Mary Peters, Joseph Peirick, John Peirick, and Robert Peirick. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Rose Peirick, his brother Leo Peirick, and sister Rosalie Stelzer. Francis was a mechanic at McDonnell Douglas for nearly 40 years. During his employment there, he worked on, and then later wrote technical manuals for the maintenance and repair of fighter jets. In his spare time, he volunteered for the Knights of Columbus and at St. Vincent DePaul. He also was a long time member at Assumption B.V.M. Church where he helped out behind the scenes, sang in the choir, and assisted the nuns at the convent with their gardening. Francis was a “Jack of All Trades” and was always willing to help whoever needed him. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul or Assumption School Tuition Assistance Fund.
