Francis “Frank” Sandt, of Saint Charles, MO, sanctified by the Holy Catholic Church and full of his faith in Jesus Christ, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Martha "Marti" S. Brown; cherished son of the late Edward H. and Mary J. Sandt; devoted father of Amanda (Erik) Vincent and Christopher (Patty) Sandt; loving grandfather of Johnathan Sandt, Rain Sandt, Shelby Vincent and Wesley Vincent; dear brother of Donna (Rich) Blankenship, the late Edward W. (Marie) Sandt and the late Louis H. Sandt; brother-in-law to Timothy (Linda) Brown and the late Rachel Wyatt; treasured uncle of Amanda (James) Holt, Abigail Brown, Delaney Brown, Nikki (James) Sigona, Rick Blankenship, Kevin Blankenship, Rosie Sandt and Louie (Abby) Sandt; beloved "Poppy" to Emma Holt, Elliott Holt; great-uncle of Sofia Sigona and Dominic Sigona.
Frank Sandt, a proud Vietnam War veteran, Army Ranger, and Purple Heart recipient, was a man of many passions. Known for his culinary skills, Frank was the ultimate Italian cook who loved hosting family gatherings filled with laughter, food, and fun. He also had a deep love for golf, fishing, and shooting at the range, while his home improvement projects and knack for fixing anything around the house showcased his resourcefulness and perfectionism. Frank was also a devoted “cat daddy” and a beloved “baby whisperer” within his family.
A lifelong car enthusiast, Frank spent his career in the car business, becoming the go-to expert for friends and family seeking advice. His sense of humor, love for music trivia, and larger-than-life personality made him the life of every gathering. Frank was a proud patriot, honoring all who served, and his steadfast convictions and presence left a lasting impact on those around him. He will be greatly missed by his friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Memorials may be made in Frank's name to Disabled American Veterans and Church of the Shepherd.
