Huelskoetter, Francis W., of Chesterfield, MO., died on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at the age of 89. Loving husband of the late M. Marilyn Huelskoetter; beloved son of the late Ervin and Hattie Huelskoetter; devoted father of Michael (Pam) Huelskoetter, Michelle (Alberto) Diaz-Arias, and Matthew (Darla) Huelskoetter; cherished grandfather of Daniel (Tara) Diaz-Arias, Alec Diaz-Arias, Jacob Huelskoetter, Madison Huelskoetter, Sean Huelskoetter, Blake Huelskoetter, Melissa (Nathan) Franklin, Melanie Morgan, Ryan Sever, Brett Sever, and Macie Sever; and treasured great-grandfather of Isabella Diaz-Arias. He is preceded in death by his grandson Lucas Diaz-Arias, his siblings Ervin H. Huelskoetter, Louis R. Huelskoetter, and Elvira Dreisewerd.
Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. During his service in WWII he was a prisoner of war and received 2 Purple Hearts. After 18 years in the military, he owned and operated Huelskoetter Insurance Agency for more than 50 years. Frank was also a long-time member and Elder of the Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church, where he taught a Sunday school group for many years; he served as the Treasurer of Presbyterian Church in America; and served on the Board of Friendship Village for many years. Frank will always be remembered as a hard-working man who loved his family and his God. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
