Frank L. Hotmer Sr.

On the evening of Sunday Oct 1st, 2023, Frank Louis Hotmer, a loving husband and father of three, passed away. Frank had impressive and simultaneous careers to support his family. He was a firefighter and held the rank of Assistant Chief. At the same time, he was a bricklayer mason and owned his own company, Frank's Bricklaying. 

Beloved husband of the late Shirley Hotmer; cherished son of the late Hugo Hotmer and Laverna Marie Hotmer (Milward); devoted father of Susan (The Late James) Brookshier, Frank A. (Kathleen) Hotmer, Alan (Priya) Hotmer, and the late Kimberly Sue Hotmer; loving grandfather of Becca (Andy) Cardwell, Jamie Ann Brookshier, Rosalie Weaks, Brittany Hotmer, Frank (Terry) Hotmer, Joseph Hotmer, Kiran Steele, Tayin Hotmer, and Dharma Hotmer; precious Great Grandfather to six. 

Frank loved baseball almost as much as he loved his family. He would watch 3 or 4 games a day, and of course, the St. Louis Cardinals were his # 1! He also had a passion for reading and enjoyed going to the movies as often as he could. For recreation, Frank was a remarkable Dartball player and even made it into the St. Charles Amateur Sports Hall of Fame! Most of all Frank enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed but left behind cherished memories. 

Services will be held on Tuesday October 10th, 10am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
