Fred A. Quiel

Fred Quiel of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Monday, November 14, 2011 at the age of 87. He was the loving husband of Mary Quiel (NÉE: Long); beloved son of the late Max and Lydia Quiel; devoted stepfather of Diane (John) Openlander; cherished grandfather of John (Lynn) Openlander, Jr., Tim (Wendy) Openlander, and Dawn (Chris) Stumpf; treasured great-grandfather of Jake Stumpf, Tessa Openlander, Taylor Openlander, and Parker Openlander; dear brother of Charles Quiel, Earl Quiel, and Margaret Baugh; and beloved uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Quiel; sisters, Rose Quiel, and Lydia Quiel; and stepson, Patrick Sanborn. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans or American Diabetes Association.
