Beloved husband of the late Bess J. Slagle (nee: Booth); dear brother of Charles J. (Barbara) Slagle, Peggy (Fred) Curtis and the late John A. Slagle; dear uncle and friend to many. Mr. Slagle was an original member of MAC Rod and Gun Club and a member of the St. Charles Woodcarver Association. He was an aviation mechanic 1st Class in the U.S. Navy and a graduate of Parks Air College in East St. Louis.
