Fred “Bud” F. Mintert, Jr.

Mintert, Jr., Fred "Bud" F., of St. Charles, MO, died on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at the age of 86. Loving husband of the late Rita Mintert (nee: Patterson); beloved son of the late Fred, Sr. and Helen Mintert (nee: O'Brien); devoted father of Fred (Judy) Mintert III, Karen (Bob) Braznell, Pamela (Donald) Leary, Ann (Brian) Dowd, Ted (Tammy) Mintert, and Julia (Jeff) Heath; cherished grandfather of 21; treasured great-grandfather of 21 and one on the way; dear brother of Rea (Jim) Robinson; dear brother-in-law of Jean (the late Ed) Brinton, Ed (Lucia) Patterson, and Rose (Al) Mintert Coleman; and also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his siblings Rose Ann (Bill) Morrow, Joseph Mintert, and John (Emily) Whaley.

Fred was a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion. He enjoyed trout fishing, gardening, and visiting the family farm. But most of all he enjoyed being with his family.
