Fred Niedner

Memorials may be made to the Commemorative Air Force, Quail Unlimited, Pike County Hospice or the National Cancer Institute. Fred was the beloved son of Paul F. and the late Helen Niedner; loving husband of Barbara Niedner; devoted father of Bart (Michelle) Niedner, Matthew (Nicole Wilder MD) Niedner MD, Katie Niedner, and Penny Garrett; cherished grandfather of Faith Zacheis, Chance Zacheis, Titania Niedner, Arwyn Wilder and Zachary Garrett; dear brother of Charles (Barbara) Niedner; devoted master of his yellow lab, Babe. Dr. Niedner was a member of the Commemorative Air Force, St. Charles Rotary, Quail Unlimited and Turkey Unlimited. Fred enjoyed flying and restoring WWII vintage aircraft, boating in the Caribbean and on the Mississippi, hunting and fishing locally and abroad. He was an excellent steward of the land and participated in numerous conservation programs. The family has made a virtual memorial website for Fred at www.fredner.com. Dr. Niedner was a dentist for 35 years and practiced in St. Charles.
