Wallace, Sr., Fred, of St. Louis, Missouri, died on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the age of 66. Dearest husband of Charlene Wallace NEE: Blake; dear son of the late Roosevelt and Helen Wallace; devoted father of Sharon Wallace, Barry Wallace, Diane Wallace, Dexter Wallace, Roosevelt, Truman Wallace and Kindra Wallace; beloved grandfather of 18 and great grandfather of 7; dear brother of Truman (Loretta) Wallace, Charlie (Shirley) Mitchell, Charles E ( Patricia) Wallace, Susie (David) Blake, Odell (Willie) Williams, Ama Wallace, Sarah Ann McKinzie, Velma Powell and Helen Wallace. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Fred is preceded in death by his step mother, Olevia Wallace, son, Fred Wallace, grandson, JuJuan Wallace, brother and sisters, Roosevelt Wallace, Jr., Daisey Lee Bolden, Necie Wallace and Betty Hobbs, brother-in-laws, Louis and Jessie Blake and sister-in-laws, Costella Robinson and Mildred Boyd. Fred Wallace, Sr. was born in Forest, Louisiana on June 28, 1945. He later moved to St. Louis, Missouri and resided there until he departed. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era in 1967. In 1969 he was employed by General Motors for 30 years as a stock delivery person. In addition he started his own business in Heating & Cooling. He also was a member of Our Lady of Holy Cross Catholic Church and a member of VFW, Post 439.
