Vortmeier, Frederick William, of St. Charles, Missouri, departed this life on July 27, 2011 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Jean Vortmeier (nee Thies). Loving father of Kendall (Nancy) Vortmeier, ZoeAnn (Scott) Maass and John (JoEtta) Vortmeier. Dearest Opa of Nathan and Elizabeth Vortmeier, Brittany and Jerett Maass and Jack Vortmeier. Fred was a loving uncle, cousin and friend to many. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Immanuel United Church of Christ Good Samaritan fund are appreciated.
